Will my Tieks stretch out?
Tieks do stretch, but since Tieks are made with high-quality leather, they’re not going to stretch quickly. I have found that my Tieks generally stretch out in a small way over the course of 2-3 months and are noticeably stretched out after a year of wear.
Do Tieks get smelly?

Put corks or golf balls in the toes – If your Tieks are especially tight around the toes, place wine corks or golf balls in toe area every night before you go to sleep. Do this every night and then wear the shoes as long as you can during the day until they fit comfortably to your feet.

How do you maintain Tieks?
Clean by gently rubbing with a soft damp cloth, adding a mild soap when needed. Due to the metallic finish, we do not recommend using saddle soap on these styles.

Tieks can’t really be polished if bought in a bright color or pattern; there is clear shoe polish, but it won’t cover or repair the places where the color has worn off. They cannot be re-soled by a regular shoe repair shop, either — at least not the cute turquoise soles.
